'Transmission' 2014
Commissioned by Moreton Bay Regional Council
Remo was engaged as the lead Project Manager and fabricator for the construction of 'Transmission', a site specific sculpture by artist Chris Fox for Moreton Bay Regional Council. Produced during 2013-2014 in Sydney and Brisbane. Utilising 150 metres of steel, realised thanks to intelligent modelling software and advanced fabrication techniques. Remo then delivered and installed the art work in February 2014 ready for the building to open in September 2014.
'Transmission' describes an evolution of knowledge, history and place. As the tubes separate, the idea of boundless and timeless global transmission and communication is produced. 'Transmission' suggests past, present and future inhabitations, knowledge and heritage.

'Remo produced the work in a seemingly impossible time frame and delivered a first class finished product that will be seen and enjoyed by thousands of visitors daily. I will not hesitate to use his services for any specialist creative production and look forward to working with him again in the near future' . DLA piper law firm

Remo design developed two concept designs for DLA Piper office foyer area in collaboration with Woods Bagot, Architects. Remo created prototypes over an eight month period and once finalised he fabricated the designs. Elegant brass arbors were created for a creeping indoor plant interior feature for a main corridor to the reception desk. Creating a mid century, classic yet timeless interior. In addition two leather cord screens were integrated into meeting room areas to be defined stylishly within the open design. This project was all about high-end detail for a seamless and luxurious feel.

'STILL' - A Sunrise Sound Bath in Reverence of Nature 2023
Remo collaborated on this new work curated by Dance North’s Artistic Director Kyle Page. It was housed in a modified forty foot shipping container designed by Liminal Spaces. Remo created 12 metre clear-span horizontal doors with motors, a sonic bench seat for 22 people with 8 bass butt kickers built in, 32 mounted directional speakers, insulated and lined with ply wood and reflective seat lighting.
The main challenge with this project was budget constraints being set before COVID and with inflation post COVID.
