Blackbird Bar Dining and events - Function room, Brisbane CBD
Dubbed as one of the best cocktail bars, restaurants and function centres in Brisbane CBD, Blackbird is an art deco masterpiece inspired by flora and the Fibonacci Golden Ratio.
Remo was commissioned to design and create a totally unique vibe with his one of a kind artistic design and fabrication abilities.
la ruche Bar - Fortitude Valley, Brisbane
Laruche commissioned Remo to be the lead creative designer and fabricator for the entire venue on two levels e.g. bar, ceiling voids, staircases and sculptual lighting. There was a focus on gothic, timeless and surreal feature lighting with French 16th Century decadence.
Remo designed and created fifteen feature lights for this stunning, opulent and original venue.
Sculptural lighting - Private commission, Sydney
Remo was commissioned to design unique sculptural lighting for a private luxury home in Sydney. These unique lights were made using melted copper and crystal with LED bulbs which can be programmed to various light sequences.
A steel and copper layered railing was made inspired by Ammonoid fossils creating a unique and eccentric feel in the home.
You are my sunshine - Lighting sculpture Fortitude Valley, brisbane
You Are My Sunshine adorns Beirne Lane in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley like a giant, hand-crafted jewel that glistens with colour-changing light. In the early 20th Century, the Fortitude Valley was the epicentre of local fashion, and the TC Beirne Department store was one of its most popular destinations. While The Valley is now known for its vibrant night-life, the artwork lights the laneway with the elegance and style of a by-gone era – welcoming people to linger and explore.
The artwork’s title evokes memories of the Valley’s hey-day and the bitter-sweet tune of that era, which laments “Please don’t take my sunshine away.”
Remo was commissioned working in collaboration to design for fabrication the main structure of this art-deco inspired lighting sculpture by artists Gavin Sade and Priscilla Bracks.
B. LUCKY & sons arcade & game bar - Qld - VIC - NSW - WA
Remo was commissioned to make a number of chandelier lights and other features e.g. archways & back of bar for the historic TCB building in Fortitude Valley. He then made sculptural lighting and features for the Bar & Game Arcades around Australia i.e. Perth, Fremantle, Melbourne, Wolloongong and Moore Park.
Fish lane - retro outdoor light - fish lane south brisbane
Remo was commissioned by the Aria Group in collaboration with Firefly Lighting to build the iconic retro outdoor sign in Fish Lane - Brisbane's hottest new street scene located across from the Brisbane Cultural Centre. Remo designed for fabrication this iconic, colourful and original all weather outdoor light.

Remo designed a 1920's speak easy, art deco inspired intimate room with a decadent feel.
Remo was commissioned to be the lead designer and fabricator for this gorgeous middle-eastern style restaurant. The curved metalwork and detailed screens were elegant and iconic.

Remo was commissioned by Thomas Brown to fabricate the ornate metal joinery with archways/gateways to different zones as features.
riparian plaza - xmas tree sculpture - Brisbane cbd
This 5.5 metre Xmas Tree made from steel half spheres and covered in high quality LED. The tree floats in Riparian Foyer for just 6 weeks of the year. It has been a Christmas fixture in the foyer since 2010.
